  • Creams, powders, ointments that may be used on diaper areas.

Please note:
As seasons change it will be necessary to provide appropriate changes of backup clothing. I will do my best to remind you, however ultimately it is the parent’s responsibility.

Items I provide

  • Sunscreen SPF 30

  • Off family insect repellant

  • Sensitive diaper wipes

  • 1% Milk

**If another preference other than these items, it must be provided by the parent.

Daycare Dresscode

Although there is no specific dress code for daycare. I ask that you dress your child in accordance with the weather. Keep in mind that we play alot! We experiment with different sensory items, we cook and bake, and we also do lot of messy arts and crafts; please dress your child in articles of clothing that you wouldn't mind getting dirty.

I do my best to cover the children in the appropriate sized approns, but this is not a guarantee to save or protect any clothing from stains.

Pet Friendly

Sadie is our almost 3 year old great dane. She is super friendly and probably the most shy, timid dane you would ever meet. She has grown up around our kids and the children enrolled in Daycare. She has also been socialized with numerous other dogs and our cat. She spends most of her day just sleeping on the couch. When she isn't sleeping she will gently follow the kids and supervise their playing. She has been known to sleep through the kids crawling all over her when she decides to nap on the floor.

Ronin is our orange tabby cat. He is just over a year old. He has also been raised with children. He is very tolerant of rough toddlers being interested in him. When he's had enough he simply walks away. During the warmer months its all I can do to keep him from escaping outdoors and climbing trees. Luckily for us, he alway comes back when we call him or shake the food dish. Everyone deserves to have a cat as loving and loyal as Ronin.

With this being said, I practice respect towards animals. I will not tolerate children pulling tails, fur, whiskers, etc. Nice hands will be used at all time when interacting with our animals. I encourage this practice to be continued with your own pets, and others for the safety of your child and the animals that are loved as family as well.

Potty Training

When your child is ready to start toilet training, we ask that you start introducing it at home. I will follow through and encourage your child while at day care with whatever approach you like. I will encourage your child to use the potty, however I will never force them as this can lead to traumatic exposure and refusal in interest. By being consistent and encouraging I hope to aid in an easy transition.

For potty trainers we ask that you send 3 extra complete changes of clothing, including socks and one extra set of shoes. If using trainers that don’t hold liquid please send a laundry bag so that any wet clothes can be sent home daily.

All children wash their hands after bathroom use or diaper change.
