We have a very large back yard with plenty of outdoor toys and a play center for small children.  Children will never be left outside unattended and boundaries will be set for areas that children will be expected to respect. Play will not be admitted in the front yard at any time, due the busy street.  All of our toys will be taken care of and other outdoor items (grills, lawnmowers, etc) will be inaccessible to children. In the spring and summer months the children and I will have a special garden where we plant, maintain, and harvest flowers and fruits/vegetables.

In the summer months, we will occasionally play outdoors in a sprinkler or with other water toys.  Please provide swimwear for your children to keep at my home.  If sunscreen other that what I provide is desired, parents must provide it.

Sunscreen & Insect Repellent

I provide sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 & Off Family insect repellent for all children over 6 months of age in my care to use. Sunscreen is used every time we go outdoors.  If your child requires a special sunscreen or insect repellent, I ask that there be a labeled supply kept at my house so that I can apply it as necessary.

Housing Cleaning

My house is not always spotless. My main concern is the care of the children. I clean my house during Rest Time, if all are asleep, and during non-business hours. The children will help pick up toys throughout the day.
